Inside the cabin, this subcompact model displays a refreshed look that modernizes your driving experience. However, the features are unchanged throughout the three trim levels. The base trim level, the MINI Cooper Hardtop 2 Door, gives you heated side mirrors, simulated leather material, forward collision mitigation, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 6.5-inch central display screen. Sport seats and a digital driver's panel are added to higher trim levels.
The MINI Hardtop 2 Door's exterior is also refreshed with a new look on the rear and front bumpers. For all trims, the car also adds Union Jack headlights. In addition, new color options like Grey, Zesty Yellow, and Island Blue are not available. The Brick Lane Edition is also new for the 2023 model year. The 2023 MINI Hardtop 2 Door continues to have its recognizable body shape, which includes a confidently angled roof and a short, curved nose. A rounded grille and circular headlights complete the look.
Under the hood, each of the three trim levels is powered by its engine, and the capabilities across the board are unchanged. All trims are offered with a manual six-speed or auto seven-speed transmission. You will find a three-cylinder, 1.5-liter turbo engine in the base trim that puts out 134 horsepower. In the middle of the trim lineup, a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbo engine produces 189 horsepower. The MINI John Cooper Works Hardtop 2 Door trim draws 228 horsepower from its 2.0-liter turbo engine.
