2020 MINI COOPER S CLUBMAN VS 2020 MINI COOPER S COUNTRYMAN
SERVING BRENTWOOD, TN
At MINI of Nashville, we want our customers to find a new MINI that lives up to their many expectations and needs. The Clubman is a six-door, subcompact car that has extensive personality and exciting capabilities. You may be wondering how it compares to the Countryman, which is a slightly larger MINI model. The Countryman is a subcompact luxury crossover SUV with five doors. These are only the start of the notable differences between these two models.
PERFORMANCE
For 2020, the Cooper S is the Clubman's entry-level trim. It receives 189 horsepower from a four-cylinder, TwinPower Turbo 2.0-liter engine. The Countryman's Cooper S trim is a mid-level trim that is placed in between the Cooper and the John Cooper Works. It receives 189 horsepower from the same engine that is in the Cooper S Clubman. Despite having the same engine, the Clubman's acceleration rate is modestly higher than the Countryman.
APPEARANCE
The 2020 Clubman and the 2020 Countryman have brand-specific features, such as a downturned grille design, an upright stance, and round headlights. The Cooper S Clubman for 2020, however, has smaller headlights that are round. The grille is more petite than the Countryman's grille. A powerful air vent runs laterally through the smooth hood. Also, the 2020 Clubman comes with up to 18-inch wheels, heated side mirrors, and a panoramic sunroof. The Countryman's grille is smaller and has greater separation from the headlights. The headlights are more extensive, and the Countryman also comes with raised roof rails, 19-inch wheels, a sunroof, and more.
FEATURES
Across the Cooper S trims for both of these models, you will choose between the Classic, Signature, and Iconic variants. The models share some features at the Classic level, such as a 6.5-inch display screen, an auto climate control system, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with mounted controls, Sensatec upholstery, and others. At the Signature and Iconic levels, the models have leather material, a dual-zone auto climate management system, heated seats, keyless entry, a touch display screen, and other items. Notably, the Cooper S Countryman also has a rear camera with parking sensors.
