2025 MINI Cooper Convertible vs 2025 MINI Cooper S Convertible

Serving Brentwood, TN
The popular MINI Convertible gets an exciting update in 2025 with the launch of a completely redesigned model. The MINI Convertible is closely designed after the MINI Cooper 2 Door, but it stands out in important areas. In 2025, the convertible body style will be available in both the MINI Cooper Convertible and MINI Cooper S Convertible trim levels. Our MINI of Nashville associates are eager to help you discover all that these cars offer.
Performance
The 2025 MINI Cooper Convertible is outfitted with a four-cylinder, turbocharged 2.0-liter gas engine. This system produces 160 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. The MINI Cooper S Convertible has a boosted version of this engine. Its output is 201 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque. Both engines come with a seven-speed auto dual-clutch transmission.
Appearance
The MINI Cooper Convertible and MINI Cooper S Convertible versions are remarkably designed to show off the charm that MINI is known for. At the same time, the design is decidedly fresh and modern. At the end, the tall, smooth hood curves downward sharply to connect to the chrome-outlined grille. This wide grille has a linear mesh pattern as well as a thick, body-colored band running across the center. The circular headlights are surrounded by both an LED ribbon and a black band. Over the sides, the doors are sleek and dark molding lines the lower perimeter. In addition to the two-door cabin design, the trunk door folds flat for simplified entry. The soft-top has an auto-folding design that can function even while the vehicle is moving at a slow speed. Its fold-down time is 18 seconds.
Features
Inside the MINI Convertible, you will find a low-key dashboard design. The dashboard lacks a digital instrument panel and offers the vehicle's stats on a head-up display. The circular infotainment system screen sits in front of the dashboard, and the climate control settings are mounted directly below. The only other features on the dashboard are linear air vents. The Always Open Timer provides a readout of how much time the top has been down. Other features that are available in the hardtop version may also be in the convertible body style. Some of these are adaptive cruise control, a navigation system, automated parking, keyless entry, heated seats, a heated steering wheel, and others.
